Tick, range and renko bars
Bars built from trades instead of the clock: a new bar every so many trades, every so many dollars, or every so much volume.
Switching to them
- Pick one from the interval menu, or click the chart and type it: 100t, 250t, 5s.
- The countdown under the last price shows how many trades or how much range is left in the bar.
Bar types
- Seconds
- 1, 5, 15 or 30 seconds.
- Ticks
- 100, 250, 500, 1000 or 2500 trades per bar.
- Range
- A new bar every $10, $25, $50 or $100 of range on BTC ($1 to $10 on ETH).
- Renko
- Bricks of $25 to $250 on BTC ($1 to $10 on ETH).
- Volume
- 25 to 1,000 BTC per bar (1k to 25k ETH).
- Trend reversal
- Bars that close on a set reversal, when offered.
