Tools and utilities

The smaller pro-terminal panels that don't fit cleanly into a topic section. These panels are simpler than the analytics core (Study, GEX, Trace) but earn their keep on the workspace. One short paragraph each.

DES, asset description

The DES panel is a quick-reference tile for any tracked symbol. Surfaces the canonical description, current price, recent stats (24h change, 7d, 30d), tracked exchanges, and links out to the asset on each venue. Useful when you land on a symbol you don't actively trade and want a minimum context read before opening larger panels.

SPREAD, pairs trading spread chart

The SPREAD panel plots the spread between two assets over time, the dedicated tool for pairs trading. Plot the ratio (Asset A / Asset B) or the dollar difference, and the chart surfaces the rolling mean, standard deviation bands, and the current z-score relative to those bands.

Pairs trading reads: when the spread sits at +2σ above its rolling mean, the pair is stretched, sell the rich leg, buy the cheap one. Mean reversion plays the spread back toward zero. Ideal for trading correlated alts (ETH/BTC, SOL/AVAX, etc.) without picking direction on the underlying.

NOTE, the notes panel

The NOTE panel is a workspace-anchored markdown notepad. Write while you trade, save with Ctrl/⌘ + S. Notes are tied to the workspace, they ride along with workspace exports/imports. Useful for tracking thesis state, marking levels, journaling without leaving the trading screen.

CHAT, the trollbox

The global Trollbox chat as a panel. Read the room while the rest of the workspace stays in view. Notifications on @-mentions; clears when the panel is opened or focused. Same chat available simple-side as a popover, but on the pro terminal it's usually pinned to a corner.

HUB, the community workspace gallery

The HUB panel (and the standalone /hub page) is a public gallery of pro-terminal layouts shared by other users. Browse by category, search, sort, and click any tile to open a preview modal. The Fork action hydrates the shared layout into a brand-new workspace of your own and switches you into it — useful when someone has already wired up a clean GEX, options, or perps view you don't want to rebuild from scratch. Publishing your own layout to the hub is a separate flow that lives in the Settings menu.
