Options overview

The options section walks you from chain mechanics through greeks, implied vol, and the full vol surface. Each page is a short read tied to a specific pro-terminal panel; together they're enough to read the option market the same way a professional desk does.

Why options matter for crypto traders

Options data is the most information-rich corner of any market. Every contract is a directional bet with a known cost, a known payoff, and a known timeframe. Aggregated across the chain, they tell you what large traders are paying for downside protection, where they think the next move will end, and how much uncertainty is priced into the next print.

The flip side: option language is dense. Greeks, surface shapes, term-structure, skew, all named after the math behind them. The payoff for learning the vocabulary is reading a market the futures-only world can't see.
