The custom dashboard
The custom dashboard at /custom is the middle ground between the fixed simple dashboards and the freeform pro workspace. You pick the charts you want, drag them where you want, and the layout persists. No command bar, no panels-by-typing, but every pro panel is available.
Who it's for
The simple dashboards (/market, /perps,/options, /gex, /macro) have fixed layouts. The pro terminal is freeform but takes a few minutes to learn. /custom sits between them: you build a personal page once, it persists across reloads, and you read it like any other dashboard from then on.
Best fit for traders who want a fixed daily-read page tailored to their book, but don't want to drive the workspace via commands.
The chart picker
Open /custom and click Add chart (top-right). The chart picker modal lists every chart we publish, grouped by category: GEX, Options, Perps, Macro, Trend, Market, Equities, ETF, Tools. Each card shows the chart name, a one-sentence description, and (where available) a hover tooltip with deeper guidance.
Click any tile to add it to the dashboard. Charts append to the bottom of the layout by default; drag them where you want.
Pro panels via the "+" button
Many pro-terminal panels surface an Add to dashboard button (the small + icon in the panel header) when opened on a consumer dashboard. Clicking it adds that exact panel to /custom with whatever symbol and filter state it had at the time of the click.
Bridges discovery (running a panel on the simple dashboard) with customisation (saving it to your personal layout) without forcing you into the pro terminal.
Layout mechanics
- Drag a card's header to move it.
- Drag the bottom-right corner to resize. Cards snap to a column grid.
- Click the X on a card to remove it. Recoverable from the chart picker.
- Edit mode toggle in the dashboard top bar unlocks drag and resize. Lock it back when you're done so you don't bump cards while reading.
- Layout persists in browser local storage. Same browser profile = same dashboard across sessions. Different browser = blank canvas (use the pro terminal's workspace export if you want portability).
Per-card filters
Cards built on the strike-filter, expiry-filter, or symbol-switcher patterns expose the same controls they do on the consumer dashboards: range %, OI minimum, expiry bucket, symbol picker. Adjust them per-card; settings persist with the layout.
Where to use which
/market,/perps, etc. the "today's read" view, top-to-bottom, no setup./custom, your personal version of those, mixing and matching the cards you actually use./pro, the active-trading workspace with command bar, multiple workspaces, color groups. See your first session for the walkthrough.
